An Ode to summer

Loving *loving* the fall weather. Definetely my favorite time of year. But the summer was pretty dang awesome too:)

Long long pool days with my "three mens" as we say...

A sandy beach trip.

Swimming for the first time IN the ocean for this guy. He's waded in it before, but never been old enough to swim. Imagine this face exuding high pitched giggles the whole time and you have an accurate vision of Landon's first swim in the ocean:)

Soaking up some Vitamin D

Board walk fun

an occasional meltdown

but Daddy cures all

a hug from our favorite sandwhich

And lots of Ice cream!!:)

(We were too scared to eat at this place with choices like "Fresh spinach" and "motor oil". hmmm...)

Seeing family for the first time in YEARS!!!

Meet Bridget. She is young, beautiful, and one of the sweetest, spunkiest, prettiest Okie I have met here

I enjoyed working with these and remembering what it was like to be this young.

To know you have are about to embark on a new venture, turn over a new leaf, close one book and begin writing the next. To think you know exactly how your life will pan out, what paths you will take, but yet not realizing that some paths will lead to different destinations than you thought, and that although you feel like you have it all figured out, you really don't;)

But that is the FUN of it, figuring out your own path, your own way and enjoying the journey as you go. Ahh to be this young.
Anyway, here are some of my favorites from this session. She is one fun and gorgeous girl.

Some people don't know how to have fun, but I can say with out a doubt Bridget does not have that problem. This girl is beautiful and she sparkles!

I have been a horrible blog neglecter:)

Anyway, it is a new year and there will be lots of new things to come. I LOVE the feeling of a new year. I love making lists, setting goals, and checking them off. Lots of fun new things for Abbie Torroll Photography this year, including a zillion newborn sessions already booked for this year! yay!!! :) *I smell baby fever coming my way....:)****

A brief recap of where I have been, and I promise to check back in sooner rather than later.

This little guy turned 18 months. He refuses REFUSES to look at the camera.
I gave up on getting a picture of his cute face to document his big day and settled on this instead. No face, but ABSOLUTELY captures *him* at 18 months PER-FECT-LY

We survived our first Oklahoma Ice storm...

And have finding other ways to expel energy indoors...

And are now enjoying the mini break from cold before the next storm:)

I have about 5.2 billion other things I should be doing, like tackling the 2 mile high pile of dirty laundry, filling photo orders or hat orders for my Etsy Store... but I got completely captivated by these pictures I took this morning. Bath time pics are some of my favorites....
